An invigorating and stimulating herbal lemonade that promotes mental clarity while keeping the nervous system calm. Made with fresh sage, mint, lavender simple syrup, and lemon or lime juice.
Ingredients

fresh sageenough to fill a 1/2 gallon jar 1/2-3/4 full
fresh mint (spearmint, apple mint, or any variety)enough to fill a 1/2 gallon jar 1/2-3/4 full
waterroom temperature, to fill the jar
0.3cuplavender simple syrup
1cuplemon juice or lime juice
honey (optional)to taste
Method

Make a cold infusion: add and mint to a 1/2 gallon jar, filling it about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Pour room temperature over the herbs to fill the jar. Place in the fridge overnight.

The next day, pour all but about a cup of the cold infusion (including the herbs) into a blender. (Adding all at once may cause overflow.)

Add 1/3 cup and 1 cup lemon or lime juice. Blend on high for about 30 seconds. Taste and add honey if more sweetness is desired.

Strain the blended mixture back into the 1/2 gallon jar, pressing the herbs to extract any remaining liquid.
