A delicious apple fritter-inspired loaf cake with layers of cinnamon apples and a brown sugar swirl, topped with a simple glaze. Its the perfect autumn bake for cosy weekends at home.

Ingredients

  • 2tbspgranulated sugarfor apples
  • 1tspcinnamonfor apples
  • 0.3cupbrown sugarfor topping
  • 2tspcinnamonfor topping
  • 0.5cupbuttersoftened
  • 0.7cupgranulated sugarfor batter
  • 2eggslarge
  • 1.5tspvanilla extract
  • 1.5cupall purpose flour
  • 1.8tspbaking powder
  • 1tspsalt
  • 0.5cupwhole milkfor batter
  • 2.5tbspwhole milkfor glaze (2-3 tbsp)

Method

    In a small bowl, combine and 2 teaspoons for the topping; mix well and set aside.

    In a separate bowl, combine peeled and diced with 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon ; mix until are evenly coated.
