A ridiculously flavorful one-pot ground beef and cabbage skillet, smothered in a savory gravy with bell peppers and spices. This humble cabbage gets a major upgrade and is perfect over rice or on its own.
Ingredients

2lbsground beef (80/20)
1large headgreen cabbagechopped into bite-sized pieces
1largewhite oniondiced
1red bell pepperdiced
1yellow bell pepperdiced
3tbspall-purpose flour
3tbsptomato paste
2tbspgarlicminced
2cupsbeef brothor 1.5 cups
1tbspWorcestershire sauce
2tbspSalt-Free Tony's (or Cajun/Creole blend)
1tbspsmoked paprika
1.5tspsaltadd more if desired
1tspblack pepperoptional
red pepper flakesoptional, to taste
Method

Brown the ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Do NOT drain the fat.

Push the beef to the sides of the pot. Add the and cook for 2 minutes, then add the onions and peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add the flour and mix thoroughly before adding the -Free Tony’s, paprika, , , and . Then add the and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the chopped cabbage in batches if needed. Stir until fully coated in the gravy. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low.

Simmer covered for 10-15 minutes, or until the cabbage reaches your preferred texture.

If the sauce is too runny, cook uncovered for a few minutes. Serve hot with rice, or just smash it by itself.
